Lydiard House is located in 260 acres of rural parkland, yet only minutes from Swindon town centre and is easily accessible from the M4 motorway.
Originally the ancestral home of the Viscounts Bollingbroke, Lydiard House is set in 18th century parkland, with many restored historic features, such as the walled garden and ornamental lake. Our venue provides a tranquil and relaxing setting, whether for a meeting, wedding or overnight stay.
There’s plenty to do, a private terrace for al fresco drinks and afternoon tea in the summer months, plus beautiful grounds to explore. If you’re looking to relax with your favourite tipple from the bar or enjoy a mouth-watering meal in the Villiers Restaurant overlooking the grounds, Lydiard House offers the perfect spot.
Lydiard House Museum, which can be accessed from our venue, is complimentary for conference guests and available to all guests for a small charge.
The stunning grounds and magnificent Grade 1 Listed building provides a unique backdrop for outdoor events, family fun days and also wedding parties and photography.
