Hitchin Priory, Hitchin

Hitchin Priory is a charming 14th Century building nestled in 19 acres of tranquil parkland, yet only 2 minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful market town, Hitchin in Hertfordshire.

Steeped in history dating back to 1317, Hitchin Priory is a truly unique venue. In a prime location with excellent transport links, just minutes from London Luton Airport, the M1 / A1 motorways and Hitchin train station, it makes Hitchin Priory the perfect place for meetings, weddings, social events or an overnight stay.

All 52 bedrooms are en-suite and provide tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, and trouser press as well as access to free Wi-Fi* in the meeting rooms and public areas.

* Hitchin Priory, previously a Carmelite Monastery, has thick stone walls and is a Grade I listed property.  Please note, due to the nature of the building Wi-Fi is restricted and only guaranteed in the public areas and meeting rooms.

So whether you’re dining for 2 in the Radcliffe restaurant overlooking the stunning grounds, or simply having a relaxing drink in the bar, you will be provided with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Please note, a separate annexe houses some of the bedrooms, which is adjacent to the main building.
